NEW YORK!!

Here we are in Times Square with the famous NAKED COWBOY!! Ti and I laughed several times before we decided to take this picture, but thought it was funny so we did it :)

Ok so call me dumb but when I put my pictures on they went backwards from the way I wanted them too, so we will just move backwards through the trip LOL. This picture is in Times Square where Ti and I got our picture taken with the naked cowboy... it was quite funny, he thought we were funny because we were "Mormon's from Utah" and got our picture taken.

This picture is in Central Park...it was one of my favorite places just because you could see so much from there and there were so many different people everywhere. I can't put all my pictures on from here or anywhere really because there are so many, but it was pretty and lots of fun! Thanks for coming with us mom and dad Lamb :0)

We decided to venture into Pennsylvania one day and see everything there so we got rental car in the city. We saw some cool things there and I had to hiccups really bad that WHOLE day...my chest and tummy hurt from hiccuping so hard! :(
This is a picture from our Hotel room in Canada. The falls were GORGEOUS especially from the Canadian side. I don't think any picture could do justice for what we were able to see :) Canada was a lot of fun even though I think it stressed Ti out and I got a little scared when she struggled declaring her nationality.

Here is a good picture of Ti while we were at the falls....maybe she was thinking about her nationality here lol.

This is the sacred Grove in up state New York. We spent the first few days up there seeing church sites. It was pretty even though there was no leaves.
I had a picture of the temple on here but it disappeared somewhere and I dont really have time to find it and put it on again, but I did want to update since oh yeah... it's been forever! I'm working on a scrapbook so that will be better, but here is this for now!
Thanks for the Trip Ti, Mom and Dad! It was fun!

Emerald Pools Hike

This weekend Ti and I decided to take a break from the usual never-ending amount of homework we continuously have on the weekends and went to Zions! We have been wanting to go for a while and decided it was warming up enough we should be fine to go and it shouldn't be too bad up there...it was perfect and really pretty!
We decided to hike the Emerald Pools because it has been a little rainy down here and we figured we may be able to see some pretty waterfalls... The picture to the left is from underneath the lowest fall and the beginning of mud...I walked along the banister to try and avoid getting too muddy but found out rather quickly that I shouldn't have wasted my time because it only got worse! :)
The picture with Ti is just after we hiked out from under the first fall...and there was another water fall that is not normally there just coming down off the side of the cliff...
Just after we came out from under the lowest fall, we began the never-ending stair cases...who knows really how many stairs we climbed up but really it seemed like a lot :O) Good exercise though!

The views from almost any point made the trip definitely more worth going! It was SO pretty and because there wasn't very many people and they were all really occupied with the mud--- we were able to see some wild life. We did take a few pictures but we didn't sit in awe at the deers eating...

I really like this picture of Ti :) I got out of bed, brushed my teeth and hair and then threw on a hat, hoodie, and jeans and we were off... Ti put on mascara and straightened her hair, brushed her teeth and we headed out the door.

We continued our hike up to the middle pool and we found a couple eating lunch so we decided not to stay very long and continued up the path. As we started to get closer to the upper fall we could see it creeping over the cliff and because I have never been there before I kept asking Ti if we were close or getting closer because I wasn't sure she wanted to keep going. But when we made it....

It was beautiful up there! We had lots of fun watching some little boys decide if they could walk on the ice or if it would break...it broke and then he said he wasn't really trying to walk on it, he was just sitting on the log setting his feet on the ice....RIGHT LOL we heard the whole story and it was just funny.. Poor kid, he had to hike out of there with frozen feet...BUR!

This is just a little hint of the mud that we trudged through on the way back down from the falls...we had no idea that it was going to be as muddy as it was this way back or we would have gone down the way we went up! We should have taken a hint when there was no one coming up the trail but uh we didn't and regardless we had a great time! I did take a slip in the mud but I saved the camera :) I think we had about ten pounds of mud on our feet by the time we got to the bottom. If we would have gone in my car we would have had a mud fight :) Thanks for the adventure Ti and for going with me! I had a great time away from homework and school!! (Sorry for all the spaces...I had a really hard time getting this post to work, this is my third time doing it and needless to say I don't have the patience to try and fix it...)

Pictures from my AMAZING fall!!

This was one of the last times he double (or who really knows how many times) he checked to make sure we were secure before we wiggled to the door....Love the antennas?? :)

I just thought I would post a few of my pictures from my jump...I'll still try and get my video on here sometime soon :)

Back to the gRiNd...

Well it seems like it has been years since I last up-dated my blog but only because it has! I am back in school this semester and just applied to the Dental Hygiene Program at Dixie State College. I have received an e-mail that I made it past the first cuts and I go for further testing on Feb. 14 so who knows what will happen! My life pretty much consists of work, school, and homework, with Tianne to spice it up and make me get off the computer and do something worthwhile! :) Thanks Ti! It was a beautiful day and we wanted to go to Zion but because we both had so much homework to do we decided we were better off to stay home this weekend so maybe next weekend we can go! We decided we had sat around enough today and were going to go to the hot tub but we arrived only a half hour before closing time and it was jam packed so we walked right back out and come home to do guess what?.....more homework! Sigh! It's a good thing there is more to life than just school right?!

FREE FALLING!!! AKA.....SKYDIVING

Call us cRaZy if you want, but for my 21st birthday I wanted to go skydiving so that's just what we did! :)
About two weeks before my birthday Tianne and I decided to book our sky diving adventure and decided that we both wanted to go so why not book it and go! We set the date for Friday November 7 at 12:00 and thought we would have plenty of time to get up and take our time getting to Vegas.
Well Thursday came and I didn't have to work so I spent the morning running errands and getting a few things done. When Ti got off work we went to the temple and while we were there we got a call from the Skydive place informing us that it would be windy Friday afternoon and that we needed to move our jump to eight in the morning so needless to say we had a decision to make...
I was talking to my brother while driving home from the temple and when Ti and I made it home we decided we had a decision to make and quick...did we want to drive down that night or did we want to have to leave the house at five in the morning.....hum...
It was within a matter of minutes that we were throwing a suitcase together and calling a hotel in Boulder City to book a room for the night :) We were out the door in no time at all!
Well we made it to our hotel and decided we didn't have the best of beds but it was only for one night right?? It ended up being a really long night for me...I tossed and turned on the box of springs I got to sleep on but it was definitely worth it to me!

We arrived at the airport at about 7:45 and watched most of the workers arrive. Ti had a stomach full of knots, I wasn't sure she was going to make it and was a little worried she would back out on me but she didn't!! We decided to check in... As soon as we walked in the door and told them our names, we had to get on a scale to make sure we met the weight measurements... then they shut us in a room with a clip board and a pen basically telling us to sign our lives away saying we or rather our families couldn't sue if we were to get killed or injured. :)

When we were done signing our lives away they took us out into the "dressing zone" where we had to empty our pockets and take off all our jewelry and anything else we didn't want to lose before suiting up. Ti was the first one to get dressed in the 'dazzling' apparel we were fortunate enough to wear while jumping. I just stood by the door and patiently awaited my turn, but as time got closer I realized that Ti was going to go on the first flight and I wasn't so we decided to ask what was going on... And as it turns out neither of us were on the first flight so we headed out to the car to find our camera's and take some pictures while we waited.
After waiting for a few more minutes, I was able to get a suit on and we headed out to watch the first group of jumpers jump! My guides name was Russell and he had to help the first group land so we watched them land and then headed back to the prep room where he put on his suit and we headed out to the plane!

I was the third person to jump or rather fall from the plane and as the girl in front of me was "tightening up" I watched her face get pasty white and her eyes were clenched shut as she fell from the plane... then with in a matter of a few minutes the next girl went and before I knew it I too was falling from the sky!!! It was defiantly a ThRiLl!!! I enjoyed free falling and it felt as though I was really just watching the movie, not like I was actually doing it, but within a matter of a few minutes the parachute was pulled...and we gracefully glided the last few thousand feet before making our landing. I just kept hoping my ear would pop before my eardrum ruptured...
As Russell guided the parachute into a few circles and we spun around and around I was able to just enjoy the views below me...hoover dam, Colorado river, and some random golf course :)
Before I knew it, Russell was telling me to put my feet out in front of me and bend my knees, we were getting ready to land. :( I just didn't feel like it was long enough! As we approached the ground I had my feet out in front of me and then Russell said to stand up so I did...we were on the ground!! I made it alive LOL!! Tianne was to my left and I said goodbye to Russell and walked with Ti to the hanger where we were able to take off our fancy jump suits and head to the bathroom to blow our noses. Then we got our free t-shirts and headed to the car!! It was definitely a wonderful way to spend my birthday!
We finished out the day with a little shopping at the outlet mall and then got a shake from In-And-Out before heading home! We made it home, had some really yummy German chocolate cake and sat in the hot tub before heading to bed! THANK YOU TI FOR MAKING MY BIRTHDAY SO FUN!! Now I am just anxiously awaiting my pictures and video from the skydiving place so I can post my video and some pics of me "Free fallin' baby!!"

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Well if you are reading this I am sure you have probably already looked at or will soon look at Tiannes (and I am sure her story is much better than mine so I will let her tell it) but just in case...I'll post a few pictures and give you a little of my side of the evening :)
Above you can see me pulling out the strings of my pumpkin...the guts. I almost lost my guts a few times while trying to conquor this job, but I was able to pull through and empty out my pumpkin---almost a little too close in some areas!

The picture to the left is Ti gutting her pumpkin :) She was much faster than I was and was excited about baking the pumpkin seeds when we are all done.

This picture is the pumpkin guts right next to two hallow pumpkins just waiting to be carved! :o)

Here is the
finished products!! Well sort of.... mine had one tooth on top but somehow I managed to break it off when I was trying to clean it up a little :( so then we decided we were going to try and stick it back in with a toothpick but that didn't work either so actually it ended up just having a bottom tooth...(don't worry though, i don't break people's teeth off when I am cleaning them up or working on them in the office) :)

Here are our amazingly carved pumpkins all lit up! They were really fun to carve and I do have to admit, it's been a while since I have carved a pumpkin so...

Here are the pumpkins all lit up!! They kind of look cute I think! We had fun and that's what matters I guess but it made for a fun Halloween night! :) Thanks for the fun times Ti! I love Ya!

Here is a quick picuture of me and my two sisters while at Lagoon when I was home... We had a fun time despite the long lines. I enjoyed spending time with both my little sisters! :)

Sorry this picture is at a wierd angle, it was taken on one of our phones...but I think it's cute!
